For those of you that have been following the story about leaked Democratic memos from the Senate Intelligence Committee, Jonathan M. Stein of The Washington Times writes that attention should not be focused on how and why the Democratic Senators were caught red-handed by staffer leaks, but instead on their own nefarious activities.
Instead of acceding to the Democrats’ deceitful game of investigating the cops for catching the robbers, the Senate should be investigating the Democrats for abuse of public office.
By using their offices to plan political attacks against the president and scheme against his judicial nominees, their actions are indeed shameful. But for the most part, the press hasn’t jumped on board in calling out Democratic abuse of public office. And aside from conservative circles, the memos aren’t being talked about publicly at all.
